Premium looks,fast processor,good camera quality and other high end specs together in a phone and at a comparatively lower budget makes it a flagship killer.The Poco F2 Pro and Realme X50 Pro have all of the aforesaid features.In this section there is the toughest competition.Why toughest?
All companies who launch these mid range monsters try to give the most in terms of specs within a stipulated price.As there remains a budget constraint they have to let go of some feature or other and here’s where the competitor breaks in.
At this moment in any Android smartphone, be it flagship or flagship killer,the first thing you look for is the chipset.The Snapdragon865 is the best and a must in a flagship or flagship killer device.This SoC is costly and so prices of phones with it have also reached a new high.
Now talking of flagship killers the Realme X50 Pro and thePoco F2 Pro are the best out there.Both come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon865 SoC,hence no difference in processor performance.The question now is which to choose?Here’s a detailed comparison.

DESIGN
In terms of looks both are premium looking.Their thickness are also the same.Realme X50 Pro has a cylindrical looking camera module on the back and a dual punch hole front camera module.It is available in 2 colour variants the Moss Green and the Rust Red.
The dimensions are 159mmx74.2mmx8.9mm and it is 205g in weight.

The Poco F2 Pro has a more unique circular camera module at the back and there is no punch hole in the front.The front camera is a pop-up mechanised one.In terms of colour variants Poco F2 Pro has four,the Neon Blue,Phantom Grey,Electric Purple and Cyber Grey.

The dimensions are 163.3mmx75.4mmx8.9mm and it weighs 219g.
DISPLAY
Both sport a Super Amoled display with same resolution of 1080×2400 and aspect ratio of 20:9.The Realme X50 Pro has a 6.44″ display with 84.9% screen to body ratio and ~409ppi while the Poco F2 Pro a 6.67″ display with 87.9% screen to body ratio and ~395ppi.Both are HDR10+ supportive.
As you can see that the displays are quite similar,the Poco F2 Pro having a slightly bigger one.But the Realme X50 Pro seals the deal with its 90Hz refresh rate to the standard 60Hz of its counterpart.
OS AND PROCESSOR
Realme X50 Pro runs Realme UI while the Poco F2 Pro the Poco UI based on Android 10.
Both run the octa core,max 2.84GHz,processor with Snapdragon 865 chipset and Adreno650 GPU.
RAM & STORAGE
There are 3 RAM /Storage variants of the X50 Pro-6GB/128GB,8GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB with UFS3.0 . All are LPDDR5 RAM.
The Poco F2 Pro comes with 2 variants the 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB with UFS3.1 . The 6GB is LPDDR4X and the 8GB RAM is LPDDR5.
Though the latter comes with UFS 3.1 storage better than the UFS3.0 still Realme X50 Pro gets higher marks because of the 12GB RAM.
REAR CAMERA
Realme X50 Pro has a quad camera module with primary 64MP wide sensor,a 12MP telephoto lens,a 8MP ultra wide lens and a 2MP (B/W) depth sensor.
Poco F2 Pro also has a quad camera setting with primary 64MP sensor,a 13MP ultra wide sensor,a 5MP telemacro lens and a 2MP depth sensor.
Both phones feature LED flash,HDR and Panorama.The presence of the telephoto lens makes the Realme camera a better one.But in terms of videos the Poco F2 Pro outshines with 8K video to maximum 4K of the Realme X50 Pro .
FRONT CAMERA
The 20MP pop-up camera in the Poco phone is no match when compared to the dual punch hole camera of the Realme.The dual set up has a primary 32MP Sony IMX616 lens and a 8MP ultra wide sensor.Both have quite similar video features.
Obviously if you are a selfie lover the Realme X50 Pro wins hands down.
OTHER FEATURES
Both the devices have an under display optical finger print sensor.USB 2 Type C cable is supported.Both have HiRes audio support but the Realme has stereo speakers.Both support NFC but the Poco F2 Pro has a IR blaster which Realme doesn’t have.
The Poco F2 Pro supports 3.5mm jack and is a plus point for wired headphone lovers.
BATTERY
The Poco F2 Pro has a bigger battery of 4700mAH which supports 30W fast charging(adv. 0 to 100% in 63 mins.).Though the Realme X50 Pro has a smaller battery of 4200mAH it supports 65W fast charging(adv.0 to 100% in 35 mins.).
PRICE
The Poco F2 Pro is priced at €499 for the 6GB/128GB variant and €599 for the 8GB/256GB variant.Price in India is not announced still but is expected at Rs.40,790 for the base variant and it will release in June(expected).
The Realme X50 Pro is priced at €549 (Rs.39,999)for the 6GB/128GB varaint,€599(Rs.41,999)for the 8GB/128GB variant and €749(Rs.47,999) for the top 12GB/256GB variant.

From the above I will choose the Realme X50 Pro over the Poco F2 Pro in spite of the difference in price. I am getting better features for a slight increase in price.But the final decision is yours.
